OFFICIAL RULES AND REGULATIONS:

Lake of Egypt is a private lake, primarily used to furnish water for electricity generation. Its waters and shoreline may be used for recreational purposes, including lake of egypt fishing, subject to enforceable rules by SIPC Lake Patrol. The Illinois Department of Conservation and local law enforcement agencies may assist in enforcement. SIPC reserves the right to seek assistance for violations of state law or local ordinances.

BOATING REGULATIONS:

All provisions of the Illinois Boat Registration and Safety Act apply on Lake of Egypt.

• All boats shall carry a container acceptable for litter and refuse, emptied only in litter barrels, not the lake.

• Boats will display anchor lights and running lights after sundown.

• Boats shall not anchor within 25 feet of lake buoys or buoy lines.

• No one under the influence of alcohol may operate a boat.

• Maximum speed limit: 35 miles per hour

Lake of Egypt fishing can be especially rewarding with the right techniques:

Tournament Information:

This is an Open Event. Pass the word! Members of the Tri-State Fishing Finest (TSFF) & Armed Forces Fishing League (AFFL) will accrue seasonal points while enjoying lake of egypt fishing tournaments.

Entry Fee:

• All fees collected at the boat ramp during check-in. Cash only.

• $60.00 per boat

• Nonmembers of Tri-State Fishing will have a $20 surcharge per team. After 3 events, teams become full members. Armed Forces Fishing League members are waived from the surcharge.

Big Fish Optional Pot: $20.00 per team, winner, take all.

Payouts are calculated by (TOURNAMENT PAYOUT CALCULATOR)

Payout Breakdown:

• 90% – For payouts

• 10% – To TSFF

• 1 payout per 4 boats, minimum of 2 places paid

Tournament Schedule:

• Check-in: 6:00 AM at the Check Station next to the Boat Ramp at Pyramid Acres Marina

• Lines In: 6:30 AM

• Lines Out: 2:30 PM

• Weigh-In: 2:45–3:15 PM

Rules:

• 2 man per boat maximum, single man allowed

• Fish Limit: 5 per bag/boat

• Size Limit: 14” minimum, max 4 fish per boat 16”+ in length

• Dead Fish: Will not count and incur an 8 oz penalty
